Butene-1 (B-1) Overview
星空体育 has the largest butene-1 (B-1) capacity in North America. We have production assets with safe, reliable, environmentally sound operations to extract and produce butene-1 at our Houston, Texas facility.
B-1 is a favored co-monomer in the production of linear low-density and high-density polyethylene used in such applications as trash bags, plastic packaging such as bottles for milk and liquid detergents, food storage bags/containers and plastic trash cans. B-1 is also used to make oxo-alcohols which are used in household detergents.
With significant logistical infrastructure, 星空体育 has the capability to make bulk butene-1 deliveries in various modes including pipeline, marine (both barge and ship), railcar and truck.
